Talks

#1: Maybe you don’t need a cloud after all? (PL)
| Łukasz Dutka, Senior Java Developer at j-labs

The cloud has been a hot topic among companies for years, and we’ve seen both success and revenue through our cloud-based software. However, when we first embraced this trend, we didn’t fully understand the complexities involved. Over time, we find ourselves increasingly committed to a path where costs continue to escalate. In this presentation, I’ll address two critical questions: Why and when is it a good idea to leave the cloud?

#2: Zero-Compromise Serverless Java: No Ops, Low Costs (EN)
| Adam Bien, Java Champion | AWS Hero | Architect | Consultant | Speaker | Author

Serverless Java 21+ reduces operational complexity and costs. Through live coding, you will learn how to develop secure, maintainable NoOps applications and use Java CDK v2 for Infrastructure as Code, eliminating the need for YAML or JSON. You will also learn practical techniques for creating cost-effective, production-ready (NoOps, partially NoCode) serverless applications with built-in security and isolation.
